it wasn't a sitter, the angle was very tight. Makeable for sure, but would have had to have been inch perfect between the position of the defender, Lehman and the post. Tough to do on your 2nd touch of the game.

everything else has been fine and dandy

 

I agree. He created the chance he missed. So all is forgiven

 

And it was hardly the sitter some seem to think it was.

 

Pretty clear that Stuttgart needs Kljestan.

 

Two terrific touches from Donovan on a long ball to keep possession.

And then a not so good one touch attempting a one-two with Ribery

oops, sorry. I didn't mean it too harshly. I just though he was pushing too much at the beginning. He's calmed down nicely

 

I don't htink ribery wanted to run for that ball.

Donovan seems to have a lot of lee way to float across the top.

 

I saw it as the ball was at his feet, the keeper was far right he had a really good opportunity but miss hit the ball too far. The ball was at his feet he just had to do better on the connection. As for the running up the field part, he has fresh legs, that excuse is meh. I am not harping on Landon at all just it was more of a sitter than not. Still, good for him for starting the spring on the attack.

 

That +/- hockey statistic isn't going to look very good for LD after this game.
