Carlos Vela has been lethal for them. But not sure if he will be with Mexico NT getting ready for friendly with Wales. LAFC has been in a funk lately, and Bradley hasn't been known for consistently inspiring his troops. If Vela plays with LAFC, it will probably be a disappointing result for DCU. If he's with the MxNT, then we could get a win.

Are you all meeting up before the match? I would not park if you can avoid it. Take the train - round trip from most places is $7. james
So Gaber is out - that's good for DC - he is so good on the flank. Zimmerman is also a decent defender. I would play two up top but DC isn't going to do that do take advantage of Ciman's lack of speed (the whole line really - Beitashour, Ciman, Jackovic, etc) and Benny in the Dmid. For a win you would need to keep LA Pressed back in defense so 2 up top and 4 in the midfield. 4-4-2 or 3-1-4-2 with Durkin above the back three do disrupt the close passing that LA tries to do in the offensive third. LAFC does want to walk the ball into the net and aren't very good at shooting outside of the box so Durkin will be important to disrupt the last pass. James
Like United are going to play any other formation but 4-1-4-1 tomorrow. But it seems like they're managing to press backlines even out of that formation (see last week) so they can probably still get that press going even out of the standard United formation.
Well, that pretty much covers all the possible leg injuries. Refreshing variety after the hamstring years.
Cut off his passing options, don’t try and take the ball from him, and occasionally drop him on his ass if he is more than 30 yards from goal. James
He flew out to England Friday morning. If he’s in LA Saturday night, things are really looking up for DCU.
Sounded like Richie Williams except drop him on his ass would have been bite him on the ankle. One off the better takes I had watching the games this season was the blatant fouls seemed to be decreasing. I hope so. There's plenty of Hockey for that kind of play
You don't think that he has some pretty tasty tickets for the Champions League Final in Kiev Saturday? I don't think anyone, top to bottom would pass that up for an LAFC DCU get together.
Gates open a few hours before kickoff. The 3252 have a tailgate in front of the coliseum starting at 2:00.
Fisher again is disappointing. I guess Olsen is sticking with winners, but I hope it’s a short leash for Fisher.
Not a lot of possession from DC, having problems with the high press. Lucky LA F*C* haven't scored. Damn, how hot is it there, anyway?
Before this season I wouldn't have expected a red card for that tackle, but based off what the refs have called this season people shouldn't be surprised.
I know he's young, but Durkin commits a lot of fouls that he doesn't need to. He's got to pick and choose his times to take a tactical foul.
