I just wanted to declare my support for this club. I'm an LA native and I have always detested that ex Pasadena now Carson club. I can say I finally have a hometown team to support.
No lie, I'm kind of taking in stride our reality check today. It hurts that it was against our rival, but I would rather get checked early in the season and fix our problems right away than to wait until later when it might be too late. En las buenas y en las malas, hasta la muerte con mi equipo.
Same. It helps when the reality check is going down as an all-time regular season classic. Fun stuff. Can't wait for round 2.
Join us for a beach cleanup on Earth Day 2018 as we continue Greener Goals week. We’re joining forces with Surfrider LA to help clean up Topanga Beach in Malibu. Stick around for a beach soccer game after we’re done cleaning! http://lafc.me/2JcyY3h

Question for you guys... please note I’m not here to start any riff raft, just curious from an outsider point of view, and would rather ask the source... What separates LAFC fans from LA Galaxy fans? I don’t mean “we’re awesome, they suck.” But is it based on geography or demographic? Style of play or branding? If someone were from LA, how would they make up their mind who they pulled for? And, do y’all ever pull for both - ie when one is playing another team? How many of y’all were Galaxy fans before and switched - and how did that impact Galaxy support? Why did you switch? My best guess, and I could be wayyyyy off is the Galaxy is supposed to be more “soccer mom” and LAFC is supposed to be more “urban hipster”...however, no idea if this accurate or not, and could be way off. Or, is it more loose and those lines have not yet been defined. Simply curious. Anyways, I know a lot of fans get upset when outsiders come on their boards, which please note it’s not my intention to stir up any drama, but I would appreciate if someone would enlighten me on this issue. By the way, y’all have done an amazing job so far in your expansion season. Look forward to seeing games in your new home.
I’m not in LA but I’m thinking it would be too early to tell. The LA Galaxy has been around since the inception of the league and have had superstars on their all time roster while LAFC is only a month old. I don’t see what new loyalty , following or division there is presently other than the older Chivas USA and newer fans who want their own identity away from what the Galaxy model has had in place or which has been indoctrinated into LA soccer fans since 1996. Just an opinion but I’m also pretty sure the new dynamic stadium along with the Latin players will also lure a different set of fans to the new club as opposed to existing one.
