Didn't he just buy a new house http://www.goss.ie/claudine-robbie-keane-move-new-beverly-hills-mansion/ I wouldn't mind seen him at LAFC as the team's grounds keeper
MLS Combine, Draft coming to Los Angeles in January All signs pointed to LA being the site of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, since the NSCAA convention will be in town in January, and the draft usually takes place during that event. That will indeed be the case for the next draft as well, as a calendar on MLSsoccer.com confirms the draft will take place in Los Angeles, on Jan. 13. In addition, the MLS Player Combine will also take place in LA, from Jan. 7-12, which makes sense considering the mild winter and travel involved for all 22 teams involved in the draft. That is also confirmed on the aforementioned calendar. http://www.angelsonparade.com/2016/...combine-draft-coming-los-angeles-january-2017
-------------------------- I too let my season tickets go a while ago with LAG. Just too many issues with poor service, pricing, location. It not just a LAG thing, it's an AEG thing. Just too many things AEG has their hands in and they just don't put the effort into all the things you should do to connect with your core fans, the community etc. I will be giving LAFC a test run to see if all the stuff I am reading comes close to fruition.
Delta, Aeromexico announce partnership deal with LAFC Airlines become official partners with MLS expansion team. https://lafc.com/delta/
LAFC say they have 14,000 season ticket deposits. http://www.angelsonparade.com/2017/...its-lafc-originals-banc-of-california-stadium
I use to work with a guy whos family had Chivas season tickets since day one. Once they went away they stopped following MLS but bought LAFC season tickets the day they went on sale. Hell he doesn't even live in LA anymore and still bought them for times he goes home and just to support the team.
CDCUSA had about 2K of fans whose sole reason for being was NOT being Galaxy fans. I have friends who speak no spanish, have no ties to CDG, and yet supported that trash in Carson until its final match. I'll take that as hardcore. If not unethical.
In that case I'm sure they'll jump on LAFC. Difference is they'll likely be jumping on board the LA "first team" as it were. I can easily see LAFC eclipsing the Carson Galaxy in short order once they get established.
By the end CUSA was owned by someone about as xenophobic as Donald Trump; so there wasn't much diversity in their fan base after they alienated some of their other fans. I would expect LAFC to incorporate some of the CUSA fans, and some of the "anybody but LAG" fans, but considering they just announced 14k in season ticket deposits, its clear they already have a broader and more diverse audience! ps. with 14k deposits, I really wish they where building a bigger stadium.

Over 15,000 square feet of LED video display signage will enhance the fan experience in the stadium and surrounding entertainment district, including digital billboards along the freeway. The main video board in the stadium will measure approximately 129 feet wide by 29 feet high, and will feature 16mm SMD LED video technology for high-resolution viewing clarity. https://lafc.com/lafc-selects-panas...lutions-provider-new-banc-california-stadium/
3741 sqft isn't bad, but it's not as large as LAG @ 4,708 or RSL at 4500. Since online forums are the exact place where we take little details way out of proportion, I think it is clear that LAFC will be second fiddle to LAG because our scoreboard isn't as big.
AT THIS POINT STILL JUST A RUMOR BUT SURE DO LOOK PRETTY Jorge Ramos & Banda @ESPN_JorgeRamos 6h6 hours ago More La MLS le ofrecería a Javier Hernandez $15 millones por año para que juegue en el LAFC

Wasn't that already well known? I mean everyone knew Beckham's Miami team wouldn't be ready by then...
Well people might've been hoping that some other city, that was closer to ready, might've been fast tracked. But Sacramento probably is the only one that really could've done that... if they hadn't had that kerfuffle about the ownership recently. So, yeah, I think for most realistic people it was already well known.
