How is that not a foul on Naldo? Is this the NHL?

Could be wrong but I thought I had read something yesterday about Barca having never won an away fixture with Gil Manzano as the referee. No idea how many matches this includes.

These conditions favor them. The best approach is long balls and we are not a long ball team.

Mina or Vermaelen to start next Liga match, right? After Umtiti yellow.

I would like to see statistics how many clear fouls not give had led to Barcelona yellow this season. It's the favority method of Real Madrid referees to goad Barca.

Just their bottomless hypocrisy about being offended by Piqué saying they're from Cornellà after all the abuse they've hurled at him.

It's a good match to have to miss. Getafe at home. ;)

Not yet, might be cleared by next weekend though. They said approximately 2 weeks out on January 23rd, so that would have him ready by next weekend.

I really hate both of these subs. Leave Messi out -- Atletico and Valencia play each other so it wouldn't be a disaster to lose, he needs the rest, the midweek match is more important, and the conditions are just an opportunity for him to get hurt. Meanwhile Semedo was doing more or less OK and SR is better in midfield than as a wingback.

Yeah, Messi sub was bad, as soon Messi came onto field, everyone else became ball watchers. Sometimes it works against you.

Conditions notwithstanding, we've sucked the whole game.

For much of the second half, the conditions have been such that I eagerly would have taken a 0-0 draw.

That's BS. Messi seems to be the one who is ball watching. Iniesta has been the best followed by Coutinho. They can play with the ball at their feet (not that Messi can't) and seem like the only ones who can play in these conditions. The others are just running around kicking the ball here and there.
