Mbappe made a really bad decision in stoppage time. Why not shield the ball or take it to the sideline. Silly.
Product of the team. Always was a good player, but I've never bought into him being a top player. He just had the perfect scenario for him to have a wonder year
Dios mio…….... this B/R football post game showing group standings without the points and just wins and losses. What the??/ Sigh..... so much sigh.
Neymar was practically a midfielder coming deep to get stuff started. I get it but think it actually works against them. And I agree about Mane, perhaps not the best decision making but works very hard and his speed and strength cause issues for defense.
Yeah the whole cast and studio is horrible. One dude said when talking about messi "Hes the reason people talk about him" That's deep insight bro
This is why I watch BT. They have their English hyper bias but at least they have a professional production and panel knows their stuff.
Firmino for me. He does so much for Salah to do his thing AND he scores bucket loads too. Great player.
I was getting the vibe that PSG superstars don't give a shit about losing the ball in dangerous positions or any thing. They just look much bigger than the team.
Neymar was shocking. His attitude totally sucks. He kept giving the ball away and looking at his teammates as they ran by like "ill just chill here while you go win that back". 0 drive. 0 motivation. 0 effort. His level seems to have dropped massively from his Barca days. Wouldn't want him at Madrid at all.
Been saying for some time now, neymar may have already played his best football. Buying him would be a huge gamble especially considering his injury record at the big occasions...
He has it so easy in Ligue 1 where PSG is pretty much winning every game by 3-4 goals. Doubt he has been involved in many games like our last match at San Mames after Ligue 1 move.
meh, tbh Neymar was actually trying, kept coming back to try to start something, just didnt work today (had run that lead to mbappe goal, and also a great long ball, which ended up witn his team mate wasting it). PSG overall were clueless, had no idea what to do with the ball, they wont go far in this CL, losing the game and passing sideways with no urgency or plan to score lol
Liverpool this season the Spurs of last season, let’s see how it all works out, I still don’t think that defense is that great, or the midfield for that matter especially if Henderson is in it
Completely disagree -- he has money and warm loyal home country feels at PSG. Our best hope far and away is frustration that he can never achieve lasting team or individual glory at PSG. An early CL trophy would be a terrible thorn in that hope.
They amassed a bunch of stars who only have a competitive match when they play opponents from outside the country. It's hard to stay sharp when you're always dull. It's hard to maintain high form when you don't even need to get out of first gear to beat most of the teams you play. It's one thing to be a Monacp challenging PSG.. when you're PSG, your over qualified. It's like going to law school, passing the bar exam then working at McDonald's.
Nah, if anything I thought he was trying too hard. Kept trying to dribble past the entire Liverpool team. Its not Caen or Angers. Yeah, in the second half he couldn’t even dribble around a pylon, but in the first he was beating many Liverpool players, just refused to pass the ball! That’s the problem when you only have 4 or 5 real tests every season: you’re almost too excited when the tests arrive. Could’ve ended 6-1 with a healthy Firmino and in-form Salah.
