Yeah. They got out against Dortmund, remember. With that Dortmund goal that should not have been allowed.
The way Chelsea played and how Kante was their best player, I'm almost certain PSG is gonna sign him.
Guess it will be either Conte or Luis Enrique. Apparently, Al K wants a strict dressing room guy so not keen on getting back Ancelotti.
One thing is certain. A brazilian or two bring magic. But anything more than that means trouble. Basically they are running the club.
In all seriousness, neymar will pick the next coach... If not he may struggle to be fit for the preseason.
Has there ever been three domestic ties in a quarterfinal before? Roma - Juve, Man City - Liverpool, Real Madrid - Barcelona would be insane.
That would be lame. We already get those matchups in league play. One element that makes the CL great is the matchups across countries.
I thought Willian was really good today. What I think teams routinely fail to do often enough against Basura is run at their midfielders and defenders; as a unit they are not very good at tackling talented dribblers. Kante also stood out for me with some really bright moments.
Barcelona fans chant: “Madridistas sons of bitches" and "Morata you are very bad"Alvaro Morata: pic.twitter.com/Dt28y5r6QJ— RmadridEdition (@RMadridEdition) March 14, 2018
Courtois is going to be a broken man after tonight. Once from M's right foot with no angle was bad enough. But the ignominy of having it done twice? On what was probably an audition for Real's job? Yikes...
Morata should've stayed with us as a supersub. He's done with Chelsea, completely irrelevant team and league that plays anti-football more than anything. I understand the frustration of not being a starter or not playing big games but that's the best he can get, he's not world class.
so, didn’t watch the game , how was Hazard, his normal self against strong opposition? or Chelsea’s outstanding player
So since all restrictions are off... we can draw any of the 7 teams: Order from most to least preferred: Roma Sevilla Liverpool City Juve Bayern Barca Is this even the right thread for this or who is making one?
You know what bothers me? When it's time for Real Madrid to play against Barcelona, Zidane has no excuses, needs to beat them, if he doesn't he's just not up for the job. A victory is expected and anything else is failure. When a Premier League club plays against them, you have three British commentators going "well, that's barcelonaar, carnt really do nawting bout Tha can you? Or that lad Messi, too good tha one, can't stop him at all" after they spent 600 million in 16 months or so, and constant fawning about the level of competition and how much money the clubs have at their disposal. Today before work i watched Ferdinand, Lampard and Lineker practically say "too good, nothin yew can dew abow it right?" what felt like a thousand times. Might as well just quit, go back to being a pub Sunday league and offer the money to Las Palmas and Eibar that at least go out there to give them a game.
Who isn't? DDG isn't that amazing. Kane isn't. Dybala is good talent but far from being what people think he is... and so on. The only one who doesn't get overrated on this forum is Lewandoski and probably Cristiano because so many enjoy bashing him.
