Been strong and dangerous in attacking areas, had a good chance at goal but blazed it wide. Unfortunately also seems to be the only one defending the right flank where he is getting abused.

Defensively, he was really poor against Mendy but why the hell he is supposed to mark him ?

Yeah but almost concede again on a cross from the left. There is a serious problem on the sides in that team.

He won and concede a penalty against the same player (Mendy)

Offensively, he has been good and took right decisions.
But defensively, he has been outperformed on 1vs1 situation against Mendy. But Dall Oglio should have taken precautions to avoid that (because that was obvious Kwon is not a defender and isn't able to defend against a powerful and fast left back like Mendy)

Why did he even have a huge defensive responsibility. Fck that, if their defenders can't do their job then it's not his fault.
Like remember SHM playing wingback against Chelsea thing?

Mendy is an offensive full back, he pushed high on the pitch, it forced Kwon to defend more than usually. Otherwise, If Kwon hadn't defended, it would have been two OL players (Mendy, Aouar) against Chafik.
I guess Kwon was supposed to mark Mendy and Chafik to mark Aouar, but it didn't work.

Anyway let's be honest here, there is not an offensive player for Dijon that can control Mendy.

Put just any player, the result would be the same.

On paper, he is on the wings but offensively he gets free position often moving from his spot. However, on defensive phases, should not be in 1 on 1 situation against a faster and more powerful player. Not the first time he is ovewhelmed.

yeah, case in point just look at the first goal given today. Kwon got muscled off the ball in the box allowing the shot on goal that led OL's first.

Yet he also busted through two defenders to win a ball and probably could have went down for PK.

On a bad defense margins for error are so small. KCH was not good enough one on one for sure but hardly the root of defense problems especially given lack of tactical adjustment.

not knocking him, no pun intended, just saying that he is more productive up top. Just want him to be better at the defensive half
