News out of Poland is that Kuba joins the Fire this summer. Starting RW for the 7th ranked team in the world.

This would make me cry, almost as much as Schweinsteiger.

My concern would be how this would work. They would need a DP slot and a whole lot of money (Kuba is under contract until 2019)

    Accam-gone
    Alvarez-gone
    Juninho-gone
    All fine with me.

    Seems like a popular idea:
Czy Jakub Błaszczykowski powinien przenieść się do MLS?

    Tak 61%

    Nie 39%

Wouldn't he take a DP slot which is what we are out of...

Multiple moving pieces, but it's as real as Schweinsteiger was before he put pen to paper.

Accam is clearly gone in this scenario (and is probably gone anyway).

    Juninho loan over.

Didn't think about DeLeeuw, but that is a possibility, as well. Not sure if he would have much value anymore (over 30, not a scoring machine), but that might make sense. It would be unfortunate, as I really like the way he plays.

WTF?! Wow! Guess we're going for it. Balls out, Cup or bust!

Tempered by probably losing Accam. Yes, he's maddening, but lose him and there's no one who can come remotely close to replacing his pace. Our attack will suffer. OK with losing Juninho. He's good, but redundant.

Also Kuba is looking at either Poland or Chicago as his destinations. We will have to wait really for a while until some activity happens. Window opens on July 10th

It'll be a major coup if they can get him in without moving any of these guys... (Or our starting back 4).
If a move is made Juninho makes the most sense.

That's pretty much the crux of da biscuit. Huge addition, but maybe (probably) huge subtraction. I really want both, but think it's likely Accam will go. Have to see how this one plays out. As for Kuba, Chicago makes a world of sense. At 31, he's nearing the end of his Bundesliga road. He can play for us for 3 seasons, win big, be a boss and be treated like the effin' Prince of Poland, in the world's 2nd largest Polish city.

Wow. This can't be right. The Fire I have come to know does not make this many good moves in one year.

Just because you have trouble with German, doesn't mean the thousands of Poles in this country can't pronounce his name
