It's not korean players' fault if your players were not able to put the ball in the back of the net. You missed too many chances when you were leading 1-0 and for extra-time. Btw, no nose was broken by the korean during this game. Anyway, you can think anything you want about it, I don't mind, it is just your opinion. Edit : It becomes unbearable to always hear those complaints everytime we speak about 2002 team. The subject was Poland not Italy... have a good night
Did you watched the game ? The ref whistled way before the Italian scored (and it wasn't clear at all). Why do you not speak about last minutes epic miss from Vieri and Gattuso ? Was the referee who prevented you to score ? Then, korean are cheaters because the ref committed a mistake ? Well, in that case, there so many cheaters in football.
This argument has been droned out by Italians and Spainards alike. Remember that there's always two sides to a story.
Why people keep talking s**t about 2002? It is already 2017. Our opponents failed to convert their fair share of their own opportunities fair and square; that resulted in their failure. Enough is enough, gotta move on.
can we all agree we can make an exception for spaniards? the officiating that match even had some koreans headscratching. everyone else, including italians, need to shush already
I'm glad to see he's recovered a bit, but holy hell he looks a lot less physically healthy than he did when he was playing. I understand he had a heart attack, but it saddens me to see that he got that all taken away from him. At least he looks happy though
this. let's face it the Europeans didn't like losing to a minnow. a minnow that had the exact same home field advantage as every other host nation in what was a very seedy, corrupt and underhanded FIFA. just 4 yrs later, when the Germans hosted they got plethora of WTF calls to go their way, plenty bitched and moaned (esp the Italians) but nobody said anything further because, well, it was Germany...
Italy is the only European team losing to Asian sides twice in FIFA World Cup. That makes their bit**ing a lot more annoying.
"S. Korean football chief wants to co-host FIFA World Cup with N. Korea, Japan, China in 2030" http://www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20170302001069 If it happens, North Korea will need a lot of travel guides.
Why he gotta pick the three countries we LEAST want to be partnered with? South Korea should co-host with a Southeast Asian country like Vietnam. This will open doors for football over there.
Not sure if this belongs here but couldn't find a thread for it and not seeing any forum for it either I will be in Incheon/Seoul from May 23rd-May 29th, my flight arrives at 4:30PM KST on the 23rd, 3 and a half hours before Korea Republic's U20's take on Argentina's U20s in the U20 World Cup. I'm hoping (if time allows it), I can join up with the Red Devils that night to watch that game, however, I'm not seeing where the Incheon Red Devils are located (the fact that it is all in Korean and Google Translate isn't exactly helpful doesn't help either). So do any of you guys know where they usually watch their games?
Maybe you can try facebook messaging them. Someone who reads/writes English may help. I think this is the Incheon Red Devils facebook page: https://ko-kr.facebook.com/incheonreddevil/
