    99.9% of illnesses stem from what people eat. maybe it's less, but not much less.

    I believe it’s actually the beating heart that kills you. As a machine, it only has a certain number of repetitions before failure. Smaller animals have higher heart rates and hence failure tends to come sooner.

    well yes, when the cause of death is heart failure, but not the god-knows-how-many other things that cause death.

    My pulse rate has always been slow, and strong. :) I went for a stress test they needed to get it over 100 but mine stayed at 42. They had to give me a shot to get it high enough.
    I asked the quack if that was a bad thing, he said his theory is that you only get so many heartbeats. So I have plenty to spare.
    Yeah!
