Vogts is first at all a "defense/defensive play coach". He prefers the opposite play of Klinsmann, actually. But one interesting thing about Vogts: He is very respected as someone that can build up talent for the NT. He was a head-coach in Scotland, some did not liked him, but some experts say, his influence onto their soccer resulted in a positive outcome for the Scottish NT, he could not get credit for, because he left. The moment I heard he got Vogts, I thought: That's an interesting and maybe very, very smart move.
