They're going to have to rest at least some of their top starters, I'm really hoping we see Defoe's behind planted firmly on the bench, I don't know if Fulham can handle his pace.

Sunderland looked completely anemic today, we're going to see a Yank club go down, let's just pray it's Reading. Sorry, but Hannehman isn't important to the Nats, and Convey needs to regain form in the CCC. What a massive game this was.

    and really.

McBride is going to go on to be the first Yank manager in the EPL. I'm naming my first born after him, ********ing legend.

I would laugh my a$$ off if it was Dempsey who score the winner vs. Portsmouth.. thus saving Fulham a second year running

I have to admit I had these guys dead and buried when they couldn't beat Derby several weeks ago. Fantastic fight back.

So at the end of the day Fulham are 17th. Reading lost so they are 18th and take the last spot in the relegation zone.

    16th: Bolton 36 pts -18 gd
    17th: Fulham 33 pts -23 gd
    18th: Reading 33 pts -29 gd
    19th: Birmingham 32 pts -19 gd

Bolton is safe due to solid GD - it will not matter when Chelsea whacks them
Reading is likely to win against the Rams - even away from home
Brum is motivated to win to give themselves a shot and they are home against Bburn .....

Fulham simply have to win on the road to make it ..... going to be a tall order but they have no choice ....

they all play at the same time so there really is no option to look at the scoreboard hoping for someone else's (Reading) misfortune. They need to make it happen.

I think Birmingham will have a tough time at Blackburn, there doing pretty good at the moment 7th place and fighting for a Uefa cup spot 4 pts behind Villa.

As i've been saying Portsmouth have the FA cup final, if they win they get a route to Europe.

Admittedly, so did I after last weekend.

But all hail our mighty Macca... Brian McBride can single-handedly keep Fulham up.

Very telling stat, about Macca's influence just by being on the pitch for Fulham.

    Repped.

Something's not right here although it will not impact your point. But the games you list under McBride starts actually add to 12, not 11.

Even if Reading win, unless they make up the GD they still go down if Fulham wins, right? Am I missing something?
Edit: Nevermind, just saw the other thread on scenarios in the main forum. Man, I don't want to have to root against Fulham next weekend, but...
