I see in the comments section people complaining that there is no mass transit option on the bridge. Where would such an option fit into the mass transit system there?
there is no direct train service between Rockland County to Manhattan. If you take NJ transit you need to transfer in Hoboken or Secaucus. Building train tracks on the bridge connecting Rockland on the MetroNorth Hudson line would be a step in the right direction.
Nanuet NY to the Tappan Zee Bridge is roughly 5-6 miles...New Jersey is actually 4 miles South of Nanuet
