Ok, very few of us are actually ambidexterous. How far behind is your weak foot behind your dominant foot? How long have you been playing?

Rate yourself your both feet from 1 to 10, for accuracy (weight of pass implied) and maximum power on the following criteria:

    -push passing
    -chipping
    -flipping
    -instep drive
    -inside of foot bender
    -outside of foot bender
    -on the volley
For the sake of simplicity lets pretend that you do these on a dead ball.

Here are my stats as of april 13, 2005
    -push passing R9, L7
    -chipping R8, L7
-flipping R6, L6...I sometimes slip..that why the low rating
    -instep drive R8, L3 ( I can't replicate my right footed techinique with my left :( )
-inside of foot bender R3, L2....yeah, I need work on these
-outside of foot bender R0, L0....I'm not that advanced
-on the volley R5, L7...I find it more natural to keep the shot low with my left for some reason..

I hope this survey will help you pinpoint exactly what you need to work on.

    Push passing: L8 R9
    Chipping: L7 R5
    Instep drive: L7 R7
Inside of foot bender: L9 R6
    Outside of foot: L7 R5
    On the volley: L8 R6

    What is flipping?

I guess I need to work on chipping with my right foot but I don't use chips much anyway. Same with outside of the foot. If I use the outside of my foot in a game it's usually a mid ranged pass where I have to get it round someone and I'm not leaning right to use the instep of the other foot. Even though I'm left footed I'll sometimes use the outside of my right because of the way I'm leaning (in fact I distinctly remember doing it in a game on sunday).

    -chipping R8 L3
    -flipping - WTF?
    -instep drive - R7 L4
-inside of foot bender R8 L6 (your weaker foot always has natural whip)
    -outside of foot bender - R7 L3
-on the volley R7 L6 (i seem to find volleying easier with my weaker foot)

Well basically i have only been playin 4-5 years, but im still young (14) and learning, yes I know my left side is poor. :p

It really depends on what level you imply by 10. But for 10 being a college level/semi-pro level i'd say...
    -push passing R9 L7
    -chipping R7 L5
    -flipping zero :p
    -instep drive R8 L7
-inside of foot bender R7 L5
-outside of foot bender R8 L6
    -on the volley R8 L7

I wasn't trying to do mine by any level, I was going by the accuracy.

ie. If I think of a certain pass/shot how likely is it that I'll pull it off just like I want. That is why something like my side foot passing is very high, because it's hard to mess up!

Flipping is when you get your foot under the ball and actually give the ball a physical lift, in a way "throw" it with you foot. You get very little distance out of it, but it goes directly up.

I have no use for it!

-push passing R9, L7 -- No problem with either foot on the ground or close
-chipping R9, L3 -- near perfect right, seldom get off the ground left.
-flipping R8, L4 -- not sure what flipping is... if it's "scooping" the ball, good right, weak left.
-instep drive R9, L6 -- always been good on the right, working on left...i can score from 18 on a deadball with the L now!
-inside of foot bender R8, L5 -- no problem...only real deal is that ALL shots with my left bend a LOT because of lack of technique...I can't get em to knuckle yet
-outside of foot bender R9, L0 -- I get a lot of goals from distance with the R outside bender...can't do it at all with the left.
-on the volley R7, L1 -- trouble keeping it down with the right... trouble hitting it at all with the left

lol, cuz where i'm from, "spooning" is when you overshoot and kick the ball over the goal. (its not a good thing, if you're wondering...)
