If this were the year 2014, then it I think I would have already won this bet. But a lot of things can happen in one year -- such as Ki getting loaned out to a bottom feeder club to raise his value before being sold as a way to trim their wage bill and make a fraction of the transfer fee they paid. In any scenario, he won't be offered a long term contract, most likely. Hodori is lucky that he didn't make an actual wager.
