Let's make a bet. I say Ki will not be offered another long-term contract at Swansea. One or two year contract extension at most, and this only to get more for his transfer fee. He won't be getting offers from any top-half Premier League side, either. Maybe QPR if they want another "Air Asia" posterboy. Or maybe the likes of Cardiff if they Mr. Tan wants the Korean Beckham or Korean Gerrard for marketing.

When Ki leaves Swansea, he won't be sold for any more than what they bought him for, and probably for far less.

If this were the year 2014, then it I think I would have already won this bet. But a lot of things can happen in one year -- such as Ki getting loaned out to a bottom feeder club to raise his value before being sold as a way to trim their wage bill and make a fraction of the transfer fee they paid. In any scenario, he won't be offered a long term contract, most likely. Hodori is lucky that he didn't make an actual wager.

Hilarious to read now. At least Shelvey plays with a sense of urgency and sacrifices himself for the team. Ki seems to switch off after he makes the pass, and never wants to get stuck in.
