    Revs play Wednesday in Atlanta.

After Colorado's win in Houston, the Revs are the last winless road team in the league (0-10-3)

Also, Roger is suspended (which is fine, let him rest for the USOC on Wednesday).

It's a chance to say hello to our long lost strikers from the last couple years, if nothing else. Though I've watched them a bit recently and Nemeth hasn't exactly been rushed onto the field. In fact, having brought him in, they don't seem to know where he fits.
Still, i wouldn't mind having the option to start a Kei, Bunbury, Nemeth front line...

Thank you ATL. Catching NE on a short week minus some players. I'll take that.

Probably the most thought provoking comprehensive post I've read on big soccer since that Clown guy.

FWIW Kamara didn't play tonight, nor did Nemeth. Nguyen only played 45 minutes. But New England was incredibly thin on defense before that pair of red cards.

That said, when we see teams get beat this bad, they tend to go into their next game and sit deeper, try to stay organized more defensively, something KC has struggled with breaking down.

I've never been known as an optimist but this one has 0-0 or 0-1(Nemeth) written all over it. Man I hope I'm wrong.

Why would Heaps sit his best attacking options in an Eastern conference game to rest them for a Western conference game? That just doesn't make sense.

It's not like Agudelo, Nguyen, Fagundez are a "bad" attacking trio ... and you leave the former SKC trio for the SKC game as extra "motivation"?

it's interesting how little demand there is for the game tonight. my buddy is trying to sell his two ms tix, and then he sees that the cauldron hasn't even sold all their tickets and have reduced the price to $20 and other people have put theirs on sale for $10 apiece. what in the world is going on? it's a saturday evening, great weather, we're still playing for plenty, etc.

Gerso with a goal and a quality assist in the first half. It's almost like we could've used that in the last couple games, eh Vermes?

I think that this game is the one that causes Heapes to start looking for another job.

hard to blame the manager when your player picks up a dumb red card 10 min into the game.

But 3 red cards in 2 games you gotta start questioning the coach's control of the team.

Assuming Gerso is fine after a few gatorades, a very nice game to lead into the Open Cup, players got confidence, and some even got rest.
And at least we got one win this year from Nemeth...

While true, I get the sense that Gerso needed to get benched to play like that. He was showing some slides of sliding a few weeks ago.

Maybe he needed the rest. Playing through a Kc summer can be a brutal slog for newcomers

Dunno, he had a chance to play in our stadium a bit but he quit after ten minutes.
