Which is a valid point. Kind of useless in a young striker, but good to know. Serious question: Is he actually better than anyone else we can bring in as a late game sub? Or does Vermes see great upside and is hoping to play him into a point where he will add something as a sub at some future point?
He seems faster than Saad (a plus on the wing), and overall a better player with more upside than Porter in my opinion. For where we're wanting to play him there aren't many better options (especially who weren't already on the field Saturday)
I would really like to thank the referees for not giving our opponents so many red cards this year. They clearly saw our performances while up a man from last year and decided to keep the other team to 11 men so we would play better. It's quite considerate.
