Not for the Netherlands. The Eerste Divisie doesn't have much pull around here.

    Yanks Abroad Academy
YA Coaches, Youth Players (and those not playing competitively for a first division second tier league (Holland, Scotland, Norway, etc.) or 2nd division first tier league (England, Spain, etc.)), Rumors (supported news/rumors about potential new YAs with link), History, and Alumni, and more!

  6. They play in the Jupiler league, our next tier below the Eredivisie and play for instance against relegated Eredivisie teams.

  15. There are two sides on his choice to go to AZ Alkmaar.
They have tremendous good development system with an own take on it.
So that's a pro on his choice.
That academy on the other hand produces alot of gems at the moment, 5 or 6 of the first team were academy players and still very young, and that's also the case in the second team/youth team. So he went to a club that is bristling with highly quality talents.

  23. Yeah, someone mistyped it there. He's an attacker.

  24. The AZ coach said on tv he talked to the players, that if they continued to play like that it would become worse. He told them they had to go on the pitch with another attitude. It worked. They cleared the 0-2 down score into 4-2 win and it could have been worse for Jong Ajax.
