October is stacked with Serie A fixtures, only on in the CL in the middle of the month. In the second week, it is the international break, which has many of our players spread throughout. The end of the month features the big match against Napoli. Serie A 2 Oct - at Empoli 15 Oct - Udinese 22 Oct - at Milan 26 Oct - Sampdoria 29 Oct - Napoli Champions League 18 Oct - at Lyon
Ugh another international break. Does it seriously have to be at this time? Honestly the international breaks are scheduled at the most awkward times possible, seriously UEFA? I am extremely worried about injures, as we have our huge game with Napoli this month, and we also must beat Lyon in the UCL. Two big games, and even worse: Italy National Team plays Spain for the qualifiers of the world cup this week. Oh My Goodness. These are the three biggest games I care about. Italy vs Spain Lyon vs Juventus Juventus vs Napoli
We haven't been playing so well today. Empoli has been putting some pressure on us, they've played well. Hopefully we have a much better second half. We need that goal
We had some golden chances in this game but obviously no goals. We need to sub Khedira out, obviously he isn't 100% and plays like he is injured. Sandro needs to be involved more. Have Dybala play forward more if we put Lemina in, Also Pjanic and Hernanes keep running into each other, obviously they don't play well together so one of them needs to move so our mid field game flows better. Cuadrado is having himself a good game other than two opportunities to score, he is definitely and instant upgrade over Lich. In the 2nd half we have to feed Pipita the ball more.
7 goals so far 0 against in 2 games. Compare that with Lemina quarterbacking the team. Not even close. Allegri has found something.
Super happy to see Dybala scoring again and Higuain too. Putting Lemina in there helped us, Khedira was just not doing it this day, he needs to rest. Pjaca is scary, he is young and oh my, he could have had 2 goals! Lemina fked one up for him, then the other chance when he dribbled 3 defenders and creating his own shot. Pjaca and Dybala are the future of this team. If Pjaca gets more starting minutes he is gonna be scoring goals left and right, his ball skills are extraordinary and the way he controls his body is superior than Dybala, he doesn't fall off easy while dribbling, he is just a stronger version of Dybala in a way. Overall I am happy how the team performed, this game we could have easily scored 5-6 goals at least. Also the 1st goal by Higuain was just amazing, just shows how good of a range striker he is. Lastly the unsung hero of this game was Cuadrado, this guy played well for 90 minutes, he almost scored 3 times, just unlucky that one of those didn't go in. I am happy we have so many options at that position. Alves is a luxury mainly for CL, and Cuadrado is a luxury for serie a since he can play many games in a row at a high pace. This team is deep and I'm glad we got capable backups. Last but not least Hernanes had another good performance, he played well.
Yep, in the 20 or so minutes he played he created multiple chances. Almost scored a couple of times, could have scored if Lemina had passed him the ball instead of taking the shot himself. He also dribbled three players and took a shot only for Skorupski to make an incredible save
La Joya speaks: ".... Dybala was without a goal yet this term until scoring a scorcher from 35 metres out against Dinamo Zagreb. “It is said that we strikers live for goals, and to a degree that is true, as every game that went by became more and more difficult. I tried to relax, especially as I told myself I wasn’t playing that badly. Sooner or later the goal would come.” The Argentine revealed why you won’t find Higuain publicly berating his teammates for not passing the ball. “Last season, in my first few games, I raised my arms once to complain with a teammate for his choice of pass. When I got to the locker room, the club representatives told me: ‘We don’t do that here.’ And I never did again. Maybe they said the same to Higuain.....”
The game was practically Juventus strongly attacking versus a very good structured defensive system of Empoli. But five minutes were enough to Juve build a nice victory. Good to see Dybala converting his good skills in his first goal in the competition and Higuain reaching the gunnery by equaling his number of goals with Icardi.
