In his first season at Juve, Dybala looked very much like he was going to be the team's reference point. I know that with CR7 there that things are bound to change, but I feel like he has stagnated as a player these last couple years. I like him a lot. I wonder if it's down to how Allegri manages him or if he needs a new challenge.
I feel like if Allegri doesn't win the Champions League at the end of the season that he will either walk or be shown the door. Managers seldom get more than five years at top Italian clubs these days. I think the time is approaching for a change of direction with regards to management. One of the things which has really frustrated me this season is our inability to really punish teams when dominating. We should be scoring a lot more.
Its down to him not being compatible with Ronaldo. The position he's playing doesn't help him either. He's never going to reach his potential here I don't think, we should have cashed in a couple of years ago
Is it that or the fact that Dybala is simply a very good, but not great player? On his day, he is great. However, he is far too inconsistent to be spoken of in the same breath as guys like Ronaldo and Messi.
The best match he played this year was when Ronaldo was suspended in the CL. I've always said we should have sold him long ago, but the club gave him the 10 and he seems to be sticking around. Dybala isn't inconsistent at all, hes been consistently average his entire time in Turin
A 10 should show up every Sunday, Tevez played great as a 10, Del Piero was a rock as a 10... Dybala goes missing way too much. I honestly don’t know why we aren’t trading him, his stock is still high and still young so we should be able to fill our main voids.
We somehow have lucked out, been bailed out and have overcome ishty performances to the tune of a RECORD first half of the season points wise. Long may such luck, bailing and ishty performances continue!
And somehow the GENIUS Sacchi, Gods Gift to Italian coaching (at least in his own mind), managed to lose a world cup with one of the most loaded Italian squads of all time - including Bobby B hisownself. Imagine leaving Beppe Signori on the bench and not bringing him on in a final heading to PKS!
