He was very frustrating tonight. Maybe more so than usual. Something is very off with Hype Tricycle. Though I would imagine Berhalter will continue to roll with him. Unfortunately the tricycle wheels seem to have come off.

Are you sure Markus won't find a new favorite player?

When he couldn’t even keep the ball in on that perfect crossing pass to him in the first half....that’s when I knew Santos was the better player. And he sucks.

Meram belongs on the bench of a reserve league team behind the corpse of Bernardo Anor.

    I have a brutal update.

I held Markus during various parts of the game so he could see better and plus his little legs get tired after the tailgate. After one of Meram's ******** ups (I forget which one), Markus turned to me, stone cold, and said: "If Meram does not score in the playoffs, then he will not be my favorite player."

He had this strange, proud look on his face and an uncertain smile. He was searching my face to see if what he had said was met with my approval. Truth be told, I was in a bit of shock.

Wow. I looked over at Tim, and I said: "our child is a serious fan."

"Chels, of course he is. He is your child."

    .....

In the background of this Meram bombshell is an incident from Saturday night. We were playing Mario Party on the Switch. Markus was doing fine, but he was not winning. Of course, the grownups were pumping him up with "good job, good try."

Abruptly after a random mini-game and a "good job, you tried" from Geeg, Markus said, "I only care about winning. Not losing, Uncle Geeg."

Time to introduce him to the motto of winners: Win or Learn.

Used tricycle for sale. It only has one wobbly left wheel. You can still ride it, but it won't get you anywhere. Bag of balls or best offer.

I came here to post a picture of a tricycle on fire. I think you beat me to it.
