This was Arsenal. Brighton don't take this approach against mid to low-level teams. That said, Izquierdo was poor today, the least effectual guy on the field. He's taking time to adapt and it'll probably take even longer because Brighton's pulled off decent results without him.
Not only this match. Prediction for the future. We all know that Brighton's goal is to avoid relegation and I'm doubt of Izquierdo's ability to succeed in this type of strategy, since in most matches I don't see them attack so much. I will be wrong. Btw, one of their best player is the Israeli int'l striker, Tomer Hemed.
must be frustrating to be a BH&A fan. They play with such caution. Clearly, Izquierdo is an attacking player but right now they are prioritizing defensive walls/play vs speed and agility. That's a lot of money to have him just sit on the bench. In the 20 minutes he was on, he generated more offense than what they were providing.

Looks like he's not ready to play 90 mins, he was very tired. Super goal and a good performance, worked his ass off.
how many games has he played so far? Like 2 right? is he really that out of shape that Brighton don't want their most expensive player to play?
The decision change clubs may cost him a spot in the WC. If he would continue with Brugges I believe that he would continue to be their best player and earn a spot to Russia. Then again, I believe he has a much better economic offer in England so I can understand him plus it's maybe the best league in the world. Anyway, I hope this goal is one of many.
He played almost 90 mins and I liked what I saw. Brighton looks like an ameteur team but Izquierdo fought hard. Recovered the the ball every time he lost it and his ball control was good. He looks more confident.
Is he ok? He scored a goal but looked really sad? https://imgtc.com/w/5k80wP8 Is this about not being called up?
