A bad google translate but I think this says Eissele will try out with HJK. It says he has a contract with Kemi through next season so it will have to be an actual transfer if HJK decides to sign him. http://www.kemi.fi/pskemi/ (If you click on the link under the picture on the main page you go to a little news page. It's the 4th article down on 10/20) "PS Kemi paint gun, with more than 50 goals during the two periods Kemi tykittänyt for a Florida-based Christian Eissele familiar with the first weeks of Finland's number one club HJK's up and running. HJK, in turn, will test Chrisua for next season. Eisselellä PS Kemi has a contract with the next season, so the double-Kakkosen paint the king's move HJK O also requires negotiations between the clubs." Soccerway says he scored 24 goals this season but Eissele's personal blog and other sites say he scored 29 in all competitions. He scored 22 last season so that's 51 goals in 2 years.
Eissele will spend the week trialing with GAIS in Sweden together with fellow american Michael Stephens.
Stephens and Eissele both played the first half for GAIS in a preseason game today. This match report from Svenskafans says that both looked rusty but also that they at times showed quality. In the end the report says that they were difficult to judge based on todays 45 minutes. The live matchreport at local newspaper GP wrote: "Stephens and Eiselle did alright, especially Stephens. But I have a difficult time imagining them walking into starting roles in Superettan this season and outcompeting the names that are currently ahead of them in GAIS - so my guess would be that they will get negative answers from the director of sports in the middle of next week. Unless they are reaaally inexpensive." Looking at the GAIS forum at least one person there was impressed by Stephens performance. Local sportsjournalist Henrik Leman however was alot harsher on his blog where he wrote: "Both americans Michael Stephens and Christian Eissele were, relatively speaking, failures and will move on. The first one "got tired immediatly" as the GAIS manager Askebrand put it. And it was actually comical when Stephens suddenly sat down on the pitch before half time. After half time neither he nor Eissele played." Bad news for Eissele too is that a forward from the GAIS youth teams is apparantly really taking off this preseason so they might very well just settle on promoting him to the first team as a backup to their starters instead of signing a player from the outside.
Although Eissele was not signed by GAIS he will still be making the move to Sweden as IK Brage announced today that they have signed him on a three year deal. The manager comments that they have been looking for the right forward for a long time but were waiting for someone who felt 100% right, which Eissele apparently did. He describes Eissele as a highly motivated player with qualities that will help the club alot. Brage played in Superettan last year but had a real collapse of a season and was relegated to the third tier where they will be spending 2014. Traditionally though they are a bigger club then this level and will most likely move up again sooner or later, but I have to admit that I haven't really been paying attention to them since their relegation so I can't really say that the chances are of it happening this season.
Spivack had a goal and an assist in his most recent game. Assist is around 25 second mark and goal at 1:39 http://fotbolti.net/news/15-08-2014/sjadu-morkin-olafsvikingar-unnu-throttara

Eissele seems to have had a streaky but positive first season in Swedish football. Unfortunaly Brage just missed out on promotion but Eissele scored 11 goal which made him tied for 8th best goalscorer in the league. His goalscoring was very streaky though with 9 out of 11 goals scored during an 8 game period in the middle of the season. Reading the Brage forum the supporters seems to have thought that he was useless when he was not scoring and "the best signing in recent years" when he was. Such is the life of a forward!

Well I guess it has been a dissapointing season so far both for Brage who are stuck in mid-table and Eissele who has scored 4 goals in 13 games, and today the club announced on their official website that Eissele is moving back to his old club in Finland.
