JOB should start--first match without vdVaart, and with Jari (probably).

Good start to the season. Now we'll see what happens to them in the Champions League.

It's really hard to follow a team with no TV or radio coverage. Now I'm just an unfortunate Metros/Spurs fan. I'll post the Ajax USA match report once it becomes available.

Er ... wouldn't that be the Eintracht Frankfurt USA team? :)

Good to get that out of the way before the CL starts up.

What was the lineup? Did they go with the 433 or are they considering a 442 for the CL?

    Fo-three-three.

Zlatan as the forward, Sikora and van der Meyde (Boukhari) as the wings. Maxwell (Witschge), Litmanen (Pienaar), and Galasek in the midfield. Backline of JOB, Chivu, Yakubu, and Trabelsi.

JOB had quite a quiet game, since Zwolle hardly crossed the halfway line, but he had one good cross with his rightfoot on Litmanen's head, but the Zwolle goalie could just put a hand against it. So no goal.

these guys are in trouble for Champions League without Mido and Van Der Vaart. It sucks cuz it would have been a chance (and still is i guess) for John O'Brien to show case his skills
