Pumas finished dead last in the Apertura. They're getting desperate.

No chance at being relegated though, so that's a positive, at least.

I wish he'd retire and coach our NT.

So you can lose 2-0 to Cuba because two players got red carded? ;)

You must be a part of the deep state of US Soccer.

Jermaine Jones is hinting on Instagram that he may be landing a new job in Kansas City. Could it be as a player or as a coach?

I'm also quite proud of a prediction I made in this thread in early 2016:

    This is interesting.

In the old days, a (former, not sure if this is his status) professional could go straight into the A license course.

Good for Jermaine. I hope he can bring something in the coaching arena.

holy shit......can you imagine the pure unadulterated honesty you'd get from JJ as a coach? I'm intrigued by that alone. I actually wouldn't mind seeing him on the sideline. The couple of times he helped in-studio with Fox's Bundesliga coverage he was very insightful and articulate.

The biggest curveball of all time is that the federation is waiting until after the World Cup to announce the new coach because Jermaine doesn't have his licenses yet.

Have it on good authority that JJ was on the bench this past weekend for Real So Cal Academy when they played RSL in Utah

He was with the U17's and U19's, so I'm hoping as a coach

Why? They'd just replace him when Bradley complains he coach deeper from the touch line.

**JJ would make a terrible coach. But probably a good #2 for someone like Wenger who needs a seargent.

How could you possibly know enough about Jermaine Jones to come to that conclusion?

    Next move coaching in Germany?

Might be a good idea to get his now-US citizen kids developing in the German system.

I don't see his wife uprooting the family out of LA. Seems to be pretty obsessed with the Vegan LA lifestyle

Jermaine is following the LD path in two ways -- out of retirement and into MASL?

    https://www.hoylosangeles.com/deportes/futbol/hoyla-fut-jermainjonesontariofury-htmlstory.html

The Ontario Fury will officially present the former player of the United States team, Jermaine Jones. The Fury is scheduled to hold a press conference on Tuesday at 11 am at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, home of soccer team matches.

The press conference to announce the player is open to the public and will be at the North Patio.

This is the California Ontario, not the Canadian one.

Is it simply that he and Donovan wanna keep playing, but low-key or that they don't even any other $$$ options for the moment?

donovan's gotta have money options - the guy who has the MLS MVP trophy named after him could find something for $$$

Jones, on the other hand, might be in a bit more difficult place - he burned some bridges by being honest and vocal of his opinions about MLS and US Soccer - which deserves props, imo - but still, I think he could easily find a coaching gig, etc if he wanted to.....

Jones said he wanted to get into coaching - maybe he will become donovan's coach?:laugh::laugh:
