I kept thinking to the RBNY and RSL watch parties from last year, amazing how far we've come in less than a year, where even the auxiliary Cauldron watch parties are as big as our main one's last year.
Just an update, spoke with an old friend and there are some supporters in JC that were not on BS that are talking of forming up. Will keep you all posted as we gain momentum.
I talked to the guy opening the new sports bar in JC, and he is planning on getting the Direct Kick package when they open in about 3-4 weeks (and apparently he's putting the KC logo on the floor somewhere)
What new sports bar, and where?! I missed the news that we were getting another place to drink and listen to country music (local sarcasm) in JC!
not much, i missed the game on the 26th, but there was about 6 people including myself there for the vancouver game.
I'd say so, last week was Spring Break, so there might've been people out of town for or just coming back into town. That might've explained low turnout on April 2nd.
Yes we are on for McNally's this week. Turnout on these will be up & down until we can grow the base there to 3 or 4 times as large. Appreciate everyone making it out to these. We're working with the team now to get in touch with the people who have bought tickets in the Cauldron over the past few years from all of these cities. It only helps us w/those who bought through Ticketmaster, but it's better than nothing.
Here is the website for McNally's You can also hit up the CoMo Cauldron on twitter @KCCauldronCoMo for more info.
Dangit I missed it again. This was for a legit reason though, I was in St. Louis helping with tornado clean-up.
kate and I will likely show up at McNally or a place in JC. Also interested in car pooling to KC for some games - perhaps the opener. We moved from KC and were part of the original Wiz -> Mystics -> Caludron. Wizards til I die
Here's a place in Jeff City that should be showing games, as well as EPL UCL. Any one else going to the home opener?
Glen, I will be out of town this weekend, but you may try paddy malones just west of the capitol. Ask for Steve. He works there, is a buddy of mine, and he is even working on starting a supporters group made up of folks from the JC/Col area.
