Chicharito's whereabouts are still unknown.

He sustained a back injury. His expected return is next weekend.

On a related note, the West Ham chisme this week has been Marko Arnautovic's desire to move to the Chinese super league. Arnautovic played today, but it's looking rather likely that he won't stick around much longer. If so, Cheech won't be going to Spain anytime soon.

If Arnautovic is offloaded, Cheech becomes the starting ST. He should consider staying. Pellegrini wants him to stay.

 

Not necessarily. Word is they would use the money from the Arnautovic sale to purchase Callum Wilson or another striker.

Apparently, the Valencia interest is real, but West Ham are not so keen on selling him just yet. But what might make the transaction possible is the fact that his huge wages would be offloaded.

As it turns out, he might actually be better off with Pellegrini. The word out of Spain is that Valencia's interest in Cheech is coming from Peter Lim, not Marcelino.
