Javier Hernandez with another goal today and an assist (kind of). Looks full of confidence again. It will be fascinating to see how Martino goes about managing the generational shift with Mex. Euro-based players like Chicharito still miles ahead of nex gen in #ligamxeng— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) December 8, 2018
Unfortunately he's super streaky and even more, since he's not exactly a striker that can create something out of nothing, is almost entirely dependent of the service he gets and with la verde or in a team like West Ham, it's not always going to happen. To me, unfortunately most expect him to play like a perenial star when in reality, he's more like a really, really good role player, complementary to either a very productive midfield or another striker that can create with his dribbling and passing, like Rooney with Man U.
Donde estan los que decian que CH14 ya estaba acabado? Good guy cheech at it again callando hocicos in 2018.
At United and RM I defended him because I knew that those teams created opportunity after opportunity so he'd have no trouble scoring goals. But with Mexico and smaller teams like West Ham he really looks bad at times.
With a goal per minute ratio like his, there has to be a better word to describe him than "streaky". I totally agree about his limitations and reliance on others, though.
The team to take on @FulhamFC! 1️⃣ change: Antonio starts up top with Chicharito ⚒ pic.twitter.com/7R5n8cJIJt— West Ham United (@WestHam) December 15, 2018
Livescore reporting Anderson with the assist. Chicharito clearly deflected it (even slightly), not sure what the official game report will say.
