I still think West Ham is still better than they showed today.

Their new squad is a lot better than last year's.

It just that Liverpool is still a lot better that the Hammers and Liverpool's core have been together for a while now. Liverpool can defeat almost any club in the world. No shame in losing to them at their place.

 

I don't think it's too bad compared to start of last season given the quality level of Liverpool and basically same CL team. Some bad defensive positioning for first 2 of the goals and that third one was a case for VAR and fourth one just shows again how major work is needed with that defensive position and I'm talking about better defending that 6 yard box line. I liked how they actually attacked the opposition compared to Bilic/Moyes last year. That Michail Antonio I think is playing mostly due to physical attributes because in terms of football IQ I don't see.




I'm thinking for now Chicharito is being benched to give him time to recover more so than a quality issue. Regardless Given the amount of games and injuries that always rack up in Premier League fast I think he will be given good minutes to prove himself with a manager who actually thinks there is a place for him on the team.

 

At his age itd be the smart thing to do

 

I mean better he’s doing it in the EPL and not the MLS
