The relegation struggle has gotten tight in these past matches. Leverkusen are only 4 points ahead of Augsburg, who are in the promotion spot.

They better start winning some games...

Perhaps he was helping his alma mater team's interest since he came up their youth system...

Fortunately he's leaving this season, so Leverkusen won't have to see any of his weekly gaffes...

And nobody was surprised. At this rate the next manager needs to rebuild the team from scratch since after going through all this I doubt any player getting any kind of offers elsewhere is going to want to stay.

 

Bruh, been saying it all along. I don't know what people see in Toprak. There are Liga MX defenders that will never play in Europe that are better than him.

 

Leverkusen should get Araujo or Montes to replace him...

 

While that's certainly part of it I was more poking fun at the inanity that it took two more goals until Toprak was subbed after he started hobbling around after the first.
