Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] FT Hannover vs. Frankfurt 2:1 - Ina played 78 minutes Bochum vs. Berlin 1:1
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] Kikuchi may celebrait his comeback today. Jena will play away against SC Freiburg.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] http://www.footmercato.net/l-asse-enclenche-la-piste-gourcuff_article19932.html If Saint-Étienne fail to acquire Gourcuff of AC Milan, then they will go for Matsui. Torino, Bremen and Stuttgart are after him but his first option is to stay in France.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] why? But if it's St. Etienne vs Bremen, then of course he should choose Bremen. St.Etienne is a mediocre club in a league that's worse than Bundesliga now, and in Bremen he would get CL-matches, and play for the title every year.... so yeah, i agree with you
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] Plus you already have a whole lot of Japanese in the Bundesliga now. LOL.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] koki mizuno is on the bench for celtic's match away to motherwell today. naka starts as usual.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] Matsui played 86 minutes. Nakamura played full game. Honda played full game.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] Inamoto played 78 minutes. Hasebe played 45 minutes*. Kikuchi played full game. Ono --- Nakata --- Miyamoto --- *= game canceled after 1st half
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] Matsui to St-Etienne ? Matsui and his agent met Le Mans' president on 3th april to let him know that he won't extend his contract with Le Mans. Right after this meeting, his agent started to negociate with St-Etienne. He hasn't signed his contract yet but its still under negociation. Despite Stuttgart and PSG offers, he chosed "les verts". He wants to stay in France and join a popular club (St-Etienne is popular because of their history). He was interested once in PSG but our unsecure future (almost relegated) made him change his mind. BTW, his wife was also interested in livin in Paris. There is also the sponsor matter with this transfer. Konica-minolta is one of St-Etienne's sponsors. It's been sometime that they wanted St-Etienne to sign a Japanese player; which was confirmed by St-Etienne's president, Caiazzo (in fact there are 2 president at St-Etienne). Its seems interesting fot Matsui because Konica will promote him in Japan with a huge communication plan. They want him to become one of the most important japanese players. He hasn't been picked with the national team since 9th november therefore this would help him to come back with the Japanese national team to have this kind of plan increasing his popularity in Japan. I read this article in France Football. Article written by Marc Beaugé and Schuichi Tamura.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] Thanks for the news. According to a Japanese source, he will sign a three-year contract with St-Etienne. Besides Stuttgart and PSG, Nancy, Torino and several J-League clubs wanted him. By the way, he made his full international debut for Japan in 2003 at St-Etienne's home stadium. http://hochi.yomiuri.co.jp/soccer/world/news/20080413-OHT1T00111.htm
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] Wolfsburg 0 - 1 Bochum Hasebe played full game. Ono is still injured.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] Unless he can single-handedly turn St Etienne into a regular European contender, then I'm not sure if this is actually a step forward in his career. But he'd probably get a good number of games still.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] http://www.nikkansports.com/soccer/world/news/p-sc-tp3-20080416-348797.html Hamburger SV also wanted Matsui.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] http://hochi.yomiuri.co.jp/soccer/world/news/20080416-OHT1T00075.htm He returned from injury last week and will make it to the bench today.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] Okey good. Can you reply if he comes in? If you watch the game of course.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2007-2008 [R] The game Nürnberg vs Wolfsburg which was canceled last friday will be on sunday afternoon.
