Ha ha I am not even surprised about the result, the way they approached this tournament was ridiculous

Osako and Haraguchi showing their real self or can we expect better in the 2nd half?

There's been a lot of upsets so far in this Asian Cup though. Thailand and Australia lost, South Korea and China both scraping through with 1-goal wins...

They should have arranged a friendly if they use Tomiyasu as a DM.

At least go for a draw, because the last macth against UZB will not be easy. They have been a thorn in JNT side for their last couple of matches. I cannot expect much from Samuraifrecce Purple, though.

Japan lacks creativity, their attacks are boring. At least I'm glad the goal was beautiful.

    Now we're talking.
But still, the performance is still lacking. Hopefully, they prove me wrong and keep on improving over the course of the tournament.

If they played like that from the very start of the match, Japan would have been out of sight a while ago.

Doan makes it 3-1. Finally, we can breathe a little better.

They actually are much better in the second half. much more crisp passing. passing and pressing in the first half was terrible.

Poor decision to concede a penalty, and more needless stress to come.

Absolute disgrace that Makino has as many caps as he does. He probably has the most caps of any international player who is a "mood maker".

We have 2 cynical tackles within 2 seconds by Turkmenistan.
