Bayern did not deserve to go through. Wasted too many chances. That along with Rafinha (in Germany) and Tolisso's naive amateurish defensive mistakes make Madrid go for their 4th Championship in 5 years.

    Glad James scored though.
    Not much else to say.

Bayern are just pathetic; they don't deserve to go through to the final if they ********ed up the golden chances they had in the first leg whereas they gave up a stupid goal in the second. I dislike Real Madrid but they deserved to win this two leg match against Bayern.

The luck of Real Madrid will never end. They didn't do much in these two games. Half of Bayerns players were injured y regalaron at least dos goles. James was the most important Bayern-player, would have been nice to see him in the final. Nice to see him score though.

I guess it's time start thinking about the nt now.

4 Finals in 5 years is not luck. They executed their game plan and they found a way to advance. That is what great teams do.

He was so poor. Ribery and James were the only players that showed some balls against Real Madrid. Even Muller sucked.

I'm not saying it was 100% luck, but luck has played a big part in their journey the last years. They won la liga because Ramos saved them almost 10 times in stoppage time with a header. Now Bayern handing them free goals. The penalty against Juve... the list goes on. It's a very steong team with many world class players, but they have been also lucky. Really lucky.

We will agree to disagree. I don't believe it is luck. I think it is taking advantage of opportunities better than their opponents.
As I sad before, Bayern did not deserve to go through. They did not take advantage of their opportunities.

Well said. Despite what many will classify as a “crappy season” for Real Madrid they grinded their way to the final of the Champions League.

Often times it’s the teams that grind through a process that succeed, not the teams that play the ideal, pretty style that the fans prefer to see. Something to keep in mind as we switch gears into the World Cup.

I get your point but I think It's both. But when you manage to take advantage of opportunities all the time even when you play poorly I call that luck. The amount of luck Real Madrid has had would not make Levante win the CL, so it's also skill. But at least we can agree that RMA hasn't been very unlucky lately?

Well what we can hope is that Real lose in the final and Bayern continues their dominance.

To not go through because you got outplayed is one thing, but going out because of two of the dumbest mistakes imaginable at the highest level of this sport is just inexcusable.

Dominated both legs in all stats except the one that counts.

This. Real basically capitalized on Bayern’s sloppy defending and Bayern failed to put through enough chances. You have to acknowledge that Real knows how to win important matches though.

Looking at the two matches, Bayern had 60% possession, outshot real 39-16 and had 85% accuracy. Navas did outsave Ulrich 12-3.

Of course I wanted him to win, it would be like a wonderful script to beat Zidane at the Bernabeu but for us it was a Win-win situation. Until everyone will land safely in Kazan I'm not relax.

What I like about James, among other things, is that he is a very different player than what you see nowadays. Many people just talk about fast dribblers or good scorers. James is very unique in that sense. James is an artist. But a very disciplined one.
