At least he's walking so I am not that concerned. We hope it's not too serious, @jamesdrodriguez! 🙏 #MiaSanMia #FCBBJK 1-0 pic.twitter.com/XuCapUGsw0— FC Bayern Munich (@FCBayernEN) February 20, 2018
https://www.bundesliga.com/en/news/...er-to-undergo-tests-on-calf-injury-473923.jsp Will only miss training. I rather he not play this week.
So he keeps being linked to Liverpool. Do you guys think that they will drop the cash on him when the chance comes? Klopp seems to be a fan of James and he's having a great season with Liverpool. It could be an impressive era for this club if Klopp continues his magic.
Why leave? In what universe is Liverpool in the same level as Bayern? Also thing he likes about Germany is the media doesnt harass him or shit on him for going outside if his team lost like at Madrid and mostly likely in England
Yeah, it really wouldn't be a smart move. I mean if he wasn't getting playing time then it would be a consideration. But that's not the case. Right now he's at the top of his game and in a team that appreciates him and with a coach that brings out the best in him. Come June we'll be getting a better player thanks to that. It's true about the press. But not just them. The fans in general. In Munich they're more... respectful, I'd say. They tend to leave the players alone for the most part if out and about the city.
I generally think right now the best place for him is Bayern, he is important and in a team that fits his skills perfectly, with a new coach that could change for sure but when you are at one of the biggest clubs in the world and doing well plus in a league that affords you the cushion to be rotated and not over worked it has all the reasons to stay. With that said though Liverpool is very exciting, and are playing some beautiful football and are on the up under Klopp. That team is going to do some damage if they keep Salah in the next few years and James could step into the Coutinho role, that attack with that speed and finishing wide would be perfect for James and his vision. They are also set to bring in Keita Naby next year who is a box to box beast if they can get a better holding mid (a Jorginho) that midfield would be a perfect balance of 3, playing behind Mane-Firminho-Salah. James Keita Jorgino I could see why that project would be attractive, also in the EPL the spotlight is a bit bigger and the competition overall would be better week in and week out. The issue with Bayern is if Lewy leaves and with Robben and Ribery in the twilight that team will take a big dip, if Lewy stays then everything will be fine. If Liverpool can sort their goalie situation and add James and a holding mid that team would be able to compete against anyone in the world, and Klopp with his press has shown he can go far with Dortmund.
All that you are saying might be true but this just his first season and he is doing way better than anyone expected. He's secured not only a starter position but an important role in a huge team like Bayern. This is the perfect platform for James to stablish himself as one of the best or the best AMC in the world. Moving to Liverpool might be exciting but he still is learning things at Bayern and can accomplish things there. Would be crazy to think that James could be the captain of a huge team such as Bayern? That would be Amazing!
Coach says he doesn't want to risk James. Likely wants him to be 100% when they go to turkey next week.
solid game in a sub role today. 32 / 33 pass success rate. just needs to maintain his fitness and stay injury free for next week and onward!
12' GOAL! 1-0 @FCBayernENThat was just beautiful! James Rodriguez delivers an inch perfect cross into the box and Sandro Wagner is on hand to calmly head the ball into the corner. The champions lead inside the first 15 minutes.#RBLFCB pic.twitter.com/wUOm67uNRb— FOX Sports LIVE! (@FSAsiaLive) March 18, 2018
James is coming off an injury and his fitness levels are probably not the greatest yet. It is kind of odd that two Center forwards are out there. Let's see how it plays out.
