Really worried about Suarez....not winning CL w/o him. Not even sure about getting past ManUre.

    Hopefully just an ankle strain.

Great game but VV should have subbed out Messi, Suarez, and Pique at 3-0. Hope Suarez is ok. Despite a couple of misses, he played maybe his best match of the season.

Can someone explain the math behind this claim that we could mathematically wrap up the title by April 6th? There will still be 7 jornadas after we play Atleti, so that's 21 points up for grabs there.

Ignore my deleted post if you saw it :D

Thought we had 3 games until that match up. If it was 3 games, and Atletico lost all 3, we'd be up 22 after beating Atletico. That's if we won all games and assuming Madrid drop points too.

    That would never happen though.

    They messed up the math.

That last goal is nuts. The xG on that shot has to be below .05.

I remember early in the Mourinho manita game, he tried a chip that I think hit the post, but it was from a ludicrous angle to even attempt. Just bonkers goal. I'm rewatching it all night.

EDIT: https://streamable.com/idal6 This one against Tenerife, but the keeper is out of position.

He's too stupid for that. Risking injuries like that and also for not giving Malcom and Coutinho playtime they really need. Instead Roberto has to play 90min.

Don't let 4-1 fool you, it's still a one man team Messi saving Barca ass.

Yeah, if it's based on Atleti and LPB losing points, then it's a BS claim. Our lead is currently 10 on Atleti and 12 on LPB. If we beat Atleti in April, then we'll have the tie-breaker on both clubs, so 11 and 13.

Luckily, we have bottom club Huesca between the ManU matches.

BTW, crazy to see Getafe and Alaves battling for a CL spot.

No panic. FIFA international break coming up. Suarez skipping out on Uruguay duty would be a good thing.

TBF beat LPB twice and Lyon without Messi being too involved (okay, v Lyon Messi had a big impact after it was 2-1).

Realistically speaking only injuries can snatch the title away.

EDIT - now if they give #1 NCAA seeds to 3 ACC schools, Virginia, UNC, and Duke, plus Gonzaga but not to MSU I'll be pissed but hopefully MSU just takes care of biz and gets to final four anyways as #2...

Hope Suarez OK but International break should help. Pique and Lenglet also rested during that.

Messi injured his arm on Oct. 20th. These were our results while he was out:
    FCB 2-0 Inter
    FCB 5-1 LPB
    Cultural Leonesa 0-1 FCB
    Rayo V. 2-3 FCB
    Inter 1-1 FCB

Then we lost at home to Betis 3-4 on Messi's return.

So what are you on about?

Or his goal against Tenerife a few years ago where he scored a hattrick as well. Bojan 'assist'.

Messi is just...it is almost unfair to everyone how good he is. Not bad for mr.nr 5 in the world.

Shame about Suarez injury, stupid of Valverde to keep playing Suarez and Messi when the game is won. At least international break is coming up and Suarez can do with a rest. Shame, he was just getting in groove.

Valverde must rotate more. We must rest guys like Piquet, Alba, Rakitic, Busquets, Suarez and Messi whenever possible now. For example, the upcoming Villareal game is perfect to rest them all, we have other guys who can pick up the slack. League title is almost certain, Champions league is the goal now and everything else comes behind that.
