I don't think the reason to send him on loan was down to his talent. It was a money issue. When we brought on Ronaldo and needed to trim salaries, Higuain to Milan was the easiest way of doing it.
I know that, and with him coming back, we have the same money issue, so again, we could use him but we won't because we can't afford to have him on the books. We're gonna have to sell at a discount from what Milan was getting probably and that makes this even worse
Well, who's to say we could not afford to bring him back in the summer. In other words, what's the difference between bringing Higuain back and getting his wages back on the books versus making another big signing (which we typically do every summer)? I'm not sure what Milan are going to do, but if they can't make the payment (which is a possibility if they fail to secure a CL spot) and we can use him next season, why not? People forget that he is still one of the best strikers in the world.
So Pogba and Mou's relationship seems to have deteriorated beyond repair. Unless Mou gets fired any time soon I think Pogba is gone sooner rather than later. We should be keeping tabs on him. He's on the bench today in a must win vs Arsenal
I think Pogba is gone to Madrid or maybe Barca. Juventus is a distant third and maybe even 4th after PSG.
Highly doubt Madrid even want or need Pogba, not to mention Florentino doesn't like dealing with Raiola. Barca, ehh, maybe but if we're in the picture I think he'd come back instead of going there. And PSG, nah
That's what he gets for being blinded by the hype. Juventus was the ideal club for Pogba, on and off the pitch. I don't think he fully comprehended, at the time, just how ideal and crucial our squad and tactics were to his own game, and that without it, he is simply not the same player.
Yup, and I think he definitely knows that now. He needs to tone down his superstar act and get back to football, hopefully with us I think if he were to come back into this environment he would thrive again
It was Raiola fooling a kid to get a nice payout. The idiot could have waited next summer when Neymar went for mega money, he woulda gotten more lol
It is interesting to note the influence that this club has on players. Think about guys like Pogba, Morata, Cuadrado; going back, Edgar Davids, etc., and how well they have done here versus other clubs. Outside of Henry, can you think of a guy that improved when he left? Zidane left for money and he played at the same level. Same with Vidal. Same with Ibra. Same with Vieri...and the list goes on.
Agresti and DiMarzio are reporting that Alex Sandro and Juve are close to a renewal. New contract until 2023 at €4 million plus bonuses.
Pogba at £15.08M a year is going to find out that no team is going to pay that for an overrated midfielder other than the suckers who already are.
I have read reports linking us to Pogba and Isco. I get Pogba, but how does Isco fit here, as good as he is?
