Enough of the call-up talk, let's talk formations!
    For this game, first half:
    .......................De Sanctis
    Maggio....Cannavaro...Bocchetti.........Criscito
    .............Marchisio...Pirlo...Gattuso
    ......Quagliarella....Pazzini..........Dinatale

I'd be satisfied with this. Put Chiellini in for Canna and De Rossi in for Gattuso and that's probably our best starting lineup (assuming we are going to play 4-3-3 or some variation of that)

I don't want to risk injuries to our best players! Maybe play all the oldies, just to see what level they're at.

We should have played our friendlies by now, Lippi is making me worry. I also hope we drop Camo and take Cossu.

It is only televised on Telemundo from what I can see. Only Dish network gets this channel and I don't think it is available in Canada....unless you have a buddy with FTA :)

    Ricardo Osorio - VfB Stuttgart
    Guillermo Ochoa - Club America

Mexico will probably be Mixing up a line up of Starters with Subs to give everyone experience but.. the Tactical set up and Formation system of play wont change.. Mexico likes to play 4-3-3

The defense pretty standard stuff when it comes to both Central Defenders however both Wingers on the National team typically attack we let our Defense play wing.. if you Watch our Games youll see Salcido and Orosio or whom ever is in the Back line on either side attack..

then we play the men in the middle since the Defense is attacking on the wing the Mid Field plays with a CDM and a LM and RM supporting but staying and keeping with the plays not attacking but simply helping out the attack they stay in place..

then you have our Offense well technically our Offence has allready started at the defense however out attackers play with a CF play making and then the LF and RF both creating chances..

the Mexican team style if technical they dont try to our pace or out run but rather out play and out pass keep the ball low to the ground and move off 2 touch passes.. we tend to control the Tempo of the Game regardless of opponent.. the score doesnt allways favor us but the style we play with makes it very difficult for an opponent to take possession..

this includes Teams like England Netherlands Argentina Brazil Paraguay Uruguay Chile all teams that are going to the the World Cup we allways controll the tempo we are an attacking team how ever that does not mean we can score.. saddly enough out Defense is amazing our Mid strong.. but our attackers cant finish.. so whats the point.. :/

EDIT sorry about all the typos.. and yeah it suckz we basicly look good loosing..

I wouldn't be surprised if we lose to Mexico, they've been playing well against teams highly rated. Don't let the scorelines fool you. Our defense is going to be tested and give us an indication of how good we'll do in 2 weeks.

I don't agree with the Holland game, I thought they controlled the tempo for the most part. England yes, and the rest of the teams I don't know. I can predict a similar game against us with the one against England.

I'm pretty sure Lippi will play Chiellini at LB when he's healthy.
That's the way it seems to me.

The match is not tomorrow. They played it this evening. We won 5-1. Pirlo got us an early goal on a free kick. The Mexicans tied it up. Then Iaquinta hit a brace before the half. In the second half, Pepe makes a run down the flank and his cross was put away by Quagliarella, who replaced Di Natale at halftime. The last goal came from Cannavaro as headed in a Camoranesi corner kick. What a game. No one is going to beat us in this WC if we keep playing like this.

yup.. true.. well i hope both our teams learn something from this Friendly.. i hope my side can test out our system rather then our players.. that 4-3-3 has been known to look pretty but it also tactically leaves youre open to counters.. its a difficult system to implement Barcelona has managed to use it well but we arent Barcelona and while it looks pretty we often loose.. we look good loosing but.. id rather win.. lol i hope they start our non experienced strikers like Vela and Hernandez to give them experience up top..

Anyways, I never understood the logic behind starting both Gila and Iaquinta in attack, but needless to say guys like Di Natale and Pirlo are really gonna have their work cut out for them in terms of creating opportunities...

I'd probably go to St. Clair, for a pregame caffe. One of the places must be showing it. I don't know if RAI is showing it, i think my dad said it was on GOLTV. If you are closer to downtown, l'd check out the Football Factory or maybe somewhere in Little Italy on College.
