The game will be in Haifa at 9:45 P.M. local/8:45 P.M. CET/2:45 P.M. USA Eastern. Scotland has 8 wins and 3 draws in their last 11 games against teams below them in the FIFA Rankings and has won all 3 games against Israel. Israel has lost their last 4 home games and will clinch finishing last if they lose both games this month. Finishing last does not guarantee relegation because other groups in League C have 4 teams. Israel are small favorites in the betting odds. Last month Albania won 1-0 hosting Israel and Scotland won 2-0 hosting Albania. Israel will host Albania on 14 October in Beersheba with the same start time.

    Israel 2-1 Scotland

Charlie Mulgrew scored a penalty kick in the 25th minute to give Scotland the lead. Dor Peretz equalized in the 52nd minute. Scotland's John Souttar got ejected for a second yellow in the 61st minute. Kieran Tierney scored an own goal in the 75th win to give Israel a win. https://www.uefa.com/uefanationslea...ound=2000959/match=2024045/index.html?iv=true has a log of the plays. Israel had 55% percent of the possession and way more shots (24 with 9 on target compared to 7 with 2 on target for Scotland). All three teams have 1 home game that they won and 1 away game that they lost.

In the FIFA Rankings, Scotland is 39th and Israel is 94th.
