I have tried for 2 days with different web browsers and it always says the site is harmful to the computer and it is blocked. Does anyone have the same issue?
Earlier today, the site said it was down for maintenance. Right now, I'm getting the "Attack Site" warning. My guess is that some malicious dirt-bag has attacked our beloved Centerline Soccer site with evil intent and that a virus now lives there. So, for the time being, Centerline has gone down like a diver (or cheap hooker, your choice). But I'm sure they'll get it patched up in the near future. Sooner, rather than later, within 30 days. In the mean time, we'll all miss them. GO QUAKES!! - Mark
Yeah hopefully it'll be back up soon. I've been seeing the "Attack Site" warning off and on for the past month or so...
It's Doyle. He doesn't want Centerline to tell us what he is doing this transfer window. Centerline will then be up next week when the transfer window is over. The title of the first article is "SJ's playoff chance in jeopardy".
It looks like www.Centerlinesoccer.com is back up, and the site has a different look, so I assume Jay has sorted through the problems caused by the hackers.
"You try it first and let us know if it's infected. " I did, and my Mac is fine... won't vouch for PC's ! ;^)
I can vouch for PC ----------my 10 yr old PC running Pentium 3 is just fine. The skin on the new site is white instead of blue. I have to say I like the look of the old site better.
Looks like they're running a stripped down version just so they can have the site up and running. I'd be surprised if this is the final version given how good the old site looked.
It's not like they've been on the cusp of breaking news. They've become a non-entity. Used to be they were the first look, now they're an afterthought.
It's unfortunate if that truly is the sentiment of 'Quakes fans who looked to the site for breaking news on the team. I wouldn't want to speak on behalf of their current staff, but as someone who has worked closely with them in the past, trust me, it's not their fault.
I fully expect that Centerline will bounce back from this debacle and provide us with quality, timely news. They aren't dead yet. And it can take a long time to strip out viruses and malicious worms from your site. I bet it's costing them a few bucks, that or, they have to rebuild their site from scratch. I hope this works out, but for now, I'll be plenty patient with our pals at Centerline who have been one of our best and most detailed sources of news about the Quakes. ¿Do you think maybe it was the guys over at TheBaySoccer.com? I jest. Really. I'm sure the guys and gals at TheBay would never do such a nasty thing. GO QUAKES!! - Mark
Seems to me one of two things have happened. Jeff Carlisle is being shut out from the info by the quakes or he's too busy writing for ESPN, b/c he used to have all the scoops.
