The most painful thing is choosing over citeh or Pool as title winner. Wouldnt want Guardiola to win 3 in a row but would hate more if those scouse cunts end their 3 decade drought.

Ricky Sbragia has been sacked reportedly; https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...ted-sack-reserve-team-boss-Ricky-Sbragia.html
MEN is running with the story as well, although they don't make mention of Joyce returning (which would be excellent news frankly, since he is available). Sbragia simply hasn't worked out for us, especially when we consider the talent he's had available to him. Dropping one division under his stewardship and failing to even be in contention to go back up this season, definitely didn't help either. It was the right move. #MUFC Under-23s boss Ricky Sbragia has left the club. Nicky Butt will oversee a structural review of the academy this summer— Simon Peach (@SimonPeach) May 22, 2019
The story behind the "Ole at the wheel" song. https://www.goal.com/en/news/oles-a...amous-man-utd-chant/fq9awa9i8eg814tcecrm4b087 It's pretty funny that it was supposed to be about Mourinho originally. Also, some of the lyrics need to be changed (easy fix), if the fans are going to persist with it going forward.
"I'm going to be successful here. Some of these players won't be part of that." - Ole Good to see he lived up to this ruthless statement and got rid of so many players. should be smooth sailing from here on out.
I have absolutely no doubt he meant it when he said it. But ultimately, the way things have gone so far (with very limited activity both incoming and outgoing as well), the problem lies where we know full it does (and it's not with Ole)... We were hoping against hope that this summer might be a pretty fruitful one, if for no other reason that Woodward would want to quiet the growing rumblings of discontent against him and the Glazers. But that does not look to be the case: we've only bought a backup/Championship winger and top young RB (when our shopping list was very long coming in). And now we have to deal with Pogba leaving on top of everything else. At least Ole is not going the way of Mourinho and he's putting a brave face on for now. But to blame him for our current predicament is just unfair and shortsighted: once again, Woodward and Co have badly let the manager down on so many different levels. A song that is becoming all too familiar at this point unfortunately...
Still living in his own bubble. Manchester United are under no pressure to sell players, says Ole Gunnar Solskjær https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...olskjr?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Copy_to_clipboard
Ole emulating SAF in his first presser of the new season. https://www.skysports.com/football/...ergusons-siege-mentality-at-manchester-united
He never said that, he said we’re Man United, we don’t need to sell anyone. He was referring to Pogba when he said that btw.
From a club perspective, Ole handles the media way way better than anyone we've had since Fergie left.
Agreed if it's as you say unless pogba had said to him he wants to move. If he was talking in general it doesn't make sense.
The press conference illustrated once again that Ole does appear to have the best of intentions, but it's pretty evident that his hands have been tied by upper management as well (in terms of their decisions). It's a shame because it has the unfortunate effect of making Ole look like he's not necessarily truthful and talking out of his ass. We remember what he said at the end of this past season regarding players who won't be at the club for much longer, how he'd be successful etc... Not much has changed unfortunately and the squad, as it stands at least, looks weaker than it did last season. I still believe he meant it and if it were up to him obviously, things would have been different. Ole is still putting a brave face on though, but his current position is really not an enviable one as he looks to be set up to fail pretty badly, unless there are significant changes in the next 3 and a half weeks.
Right around the 2:40 in the video that Ashur posted he said, Paul and some other players are on long contracts, we are Man United we don’t have to sell.
Feel bad for Ole. He's being set up for failure. He doesnt have the resume of guys like Jose and LvG so getting another coaching gig for a top flight team will be almost impossible if he fails here. And the likelihood of him failing here is pretty high. Hes not getting the financial backing to make an actual go of it and he doesnt have the coaching knowledge to overcome having an average squad.
He'll learn a lot and land on his feet. He's a winner and a hard worker. He may never be a superstar coach, but he'll have a comfortable/successful career.
Ole's handling of the Pogba situation could define his tenure as United manager. https://www.skysports.com/football/...aers-manchester-united-reign-says-rob-dorsett Don't agree with this, because ultimately what happens with Pogba will not be dependent on Ole. That being said, as it's been pointed out earlier, Ole has handled things pretty well so far especially considering the circumstances he has to deal with right now.
