Wow...If you're English I'm impressed... the spelling alone by the Brits in this thread has been offensive. You make a decent and fair analysis... you must have actually gone to Cambridge or something lol... USA 2 ENGLAND 0!!!!!!! that's the heart talkin' but hey... have you ever seen "Angels In The Outfield"???? "it could happen"

I don't know how many times it's been said in numerous threads, but we're not Brits in football.

first off i hate the England team.....second i hate the USA squad as equally..but the reality is England will have their easiest game at the world cup against the US..England could play their second team and
win easily...you have to accept you team is not that good, maybe for concacaf but thats about it.

I can't take your grammar seriously... sorry but I have a sneaking suspicion you're a 14 year old... and if you think the U.S. isn't a favorite to get out of the group in second place, then you're a 14 year old who's smoking crack...

Because the Disloyal Opposition can, unlike the Royal Minions, actually read. If only you had known, Lord, that you weren't speaking into the mirror of your own private vanities you might well have crafted a careful sentence or two. Just to show us you could, eh?

The US will NOT advance out of their group and im saying that with a grin of my face, only to see the sad american faces asking why are we not good enough? were the USA!! Loses to England and Slovenia and a win over Algeria will not get it done...Slovenia will win over the USA and Algeria with a draw with England giving the 7pts only losing the group to England on Goal difference ..England bewteen the US and Algeria should
score at leasr 8-10 goals in those two games.

The US was still playing with amateurs in 1990 and 1998. Big deal. US Soccer has only really developed over the last decade. Any "smack talk" comes from improvements in club situations and national team results over the last 8 years or so. Although it doesn't mean much, the US still performs well at youth tournaments, giving fans the hope of performing better at the World Cup.

Besides, there is not as much "smack talk" coming from American fans. Saying "I think we will advance," is not smack talk. However, BS like "the US will lose 4-0 or 5-0" is.

I do not see what Canada has to do with the topic of this thread, however what I can predict is England thrashing USA by a 4-5 goal margin...mark my words amateurs

I think he's saying that it's sort of ironic for a Canadian to be talking so much trash on America when their team is considerably worse than the American team.

Either way, I really hope we win but it isn't realistic. A tie is slightly more realistic but most likely we'll take the loss. Don't get me wrong, I don't want us to, I'm just saying that's the most likely result.
