And in the same article it is mentioned that the grass is being replaced. I wonder if that was a local management decision or did MLS HQ get a look at some game video and question the field quality? Or, they have to get ready for super transfer Ola Kamara...
NY always has independent observers at games - sometimes as many as 15 watching for a variety of issues, including the condition of the field, so it was not just noticed via game video.

Yeah, I noticed that little phrase too and rolled my eyes (or was it clenched my teeth) ...... but still, in a very weird way, I liked what he said. And someone kicking the shit out of Dos Santos or Juninho this weekend can't hurt.
It's more a function of just not caring that much any more. It was a fun few months last year with the Rooney Acosta combo. They're still here but we're already back to the mediocrity we've been so accustomed to.
