Thankfully, only Terry has been injured this season. No horse placenta needed.

Hazard out for Belgium games. Rest for 2 weeks.

Luiz will not need knee surgery this off-season.

I hope the Hazard issue is nothing serious. We can get by without him for a couple weeks but we'll need him for the stretch run.

    Final League matches:

    Palace
    City
    Bournemouth
    United
    (Spurs - FA CUP)
    Soton
    Everton
    Boro
    West Brom
    Sunderland

It doesn't sound like it's anything serious, but if he can return for the City game, we can give him alternating rest in the weeks that follow.

Kind of what I was alluding to. Palace would be okay, Citeh not so much. Getting him back for that could be enough for us to well and truly seal the league. I agree too that he can get a rest here and there afterwards.

I would just like to add "F**k this thread". Thankfully it's been lightly populated so far.

Question on that fixture list (which matches what I see online) - where's the missing fixture? We have played 28 and there are 9 league matches showing. Is it Watford at home?

Yes, listed on CFC's site as "To be arranged."

Costa picks up an ankle injury in Spain training.....

    Doesn't sound too serious however.

I wonder how real this injury is since their next match is just a friendly.

Yeah, sounds like he'll be out through the summer. Likely delayed start to the season...if he's with us.

You have to think that this drastically hurts any transfer. Also it likely means he won't be fully fit until September which is a worry for us.

Unless we strengthen like we should and provide cover.

The thought of this team without Hazard is terrifying.. for all people say about him being anonymous at times (largely due to being double marked), there's no shot in hell we'd have either of our titles the last 3 seasons without him. This injury should absolutely be used as a wake up call to get another world class forward in the team.

It's also good news in the sense it will make the owner spend on another star player.

Very true that if Hazard was injured for long parts of the season I doubt we would have won either title. Having said that, take out Messi for 6 months at Barca on any of their treble winning seasons and I doubt they win the lot. Take out Ronaldo from Madrid for any of their CL runs and I doubt they win the CL. Those clubs have hugely talented squads but when you take out the best player from any of those teams for long periods, any team in the world will struggle.

Pedro sent back to London for further head tests. Reckon he's got a serious concussion. About time clubs treated this kind of thing more seriously.

Seems Baka and Hazard are back in training as of today.

You know, for those of you looking for some good news here
