I think he's gonna stay, because he's not worth his huge price tag Salzburg wants (15+ mio apparently) and because he will participate in the Asian Games (everything already discussed with Salzburg -> if he moves to another club, he'd need to discuss that again and would miss the whole pre-season).
RB Salzburg plays either Shekndija Tetovo or Sherrif Tiraspol in the third round of the CL qualifiers. Looks like they'll play CL next season!

No, I just think prob not ready and being a bit cautious with other striker injury. I imagine the focus will be CL as this article mentions that they delayed his AG appearance for CL. https://www.sn.at/kolumne/bullenstall/salzburg-zieht-bei-hwang-die-notbremse-36995137

HHC seems like a very limited player. Serviceable rotation player in a top 5 league; or starter in a smaller league.
The amount of hate comments on Naver is ridiculous. They criticise him for being arrogant and stupid for pulling off his shirt, and want him out of the NT forever. And as soon as he gets to a bigger league or plays in in CL and scores, they will suck his balls again. Korean Netizens.. That being said, I'm sure he will stay in Salzburg and will have a strong competition for his starting position.
HHC should get scolded for his finishing, but besides that he has been decent, created a few good chances, made room for Son, scored a nice freekick goal, had the balls to take an important penalty, etc. They just need a scapegoat since Hwang Ui Jo has turned out as their new favorite player.
