Some of the worlds most talented famale soccer players play in the W-League. Like anything soccer, you have to look for it to find anything published. Some teams have many press releases publicising their teams, others do not.

Some people think that the talent level in the W-League is not up to par with the WUSA and while on the whole, that might be the case, there are many W-League players that have been called up to the WUSA, also many of the W-Leaguers are foreign players that play here in their off season. There are former olympians and world cup players and many have turned down contracts with the WUSA.

There is info on the league and the teams but you have to look for it. You can start with the www.uslsoccer.com website (when it works) and when that is down, try the www.w-league.com website (no official ties to the league).
