FYI, the Loons have six players on international duty this week, some or all of which may not be back in time: Lod and Schuller for Finland, Gregus for Slovakia, Molino with T&T and Dotson and Toye with the US U23s.

You guys have a few yourself, I imagine.

There is nothing more Dynamo than pumping up a promotion but then failing to cleanly execute it - see these two tweets:

Based on the state of the Dynamo, midweek game, etc. they should just give these seats away and see who shows up

We do, but no one we're worried about. Except maybe our new RB Bizama for Chile. Only because we haven't had much time to see if he will work.

Everyone else? Meh...wont change the outcome of this game. At best it will be a 1-1 draw...most likely a late 2-1 or 3-1 loss.

Our last 3 games are guaranteed losses so this and the next two are basically meaningless for us, and the players seem to know it too

Of the last 6 games only the Orlando seems winnable.
Home vs Min - a playoff team, loss
Away at VWC - should be winnable, but we just suck on the road... loss or tie at best
    Home for Orlando - win
Away at LAFC - monumental loss
Away at RSL - road game vs a playoff team. Loss
Home vs LAG - I really wish for a repeat of last year, knocking the Galaxy out of the playoffs... but I think it’s unlikely they will win

I can hear Jordan already if we beat LAG: “finally our players are geling together, this gives us hope for 2020 that we are on the right track and our strategy is working”. Ugh!

Eh, Minnesota is possible with the international break causing some roster turnover. A point is not a terrible bet. Orlando is the other game, agreed, where we can get points. The Caps are Canadian and we never do good in Canada, regardless of team or circumstances.

Our players gel. Look stout some nights. Win a USOC when focused on team cohesiveness!
They just fall to pieces at the 75th minute mark these past 3 or 4 years now in league play.

Wish we woulda seen our FO do that 70's retro night with Minnesota coming to town. They had a well ru and well supported NASL team back in the day. We woulda had our retro Houston Hurricane orange vs. their retro Minnesota Kicks jerseys. 70's era prices on food n cokes. Oh well!

So, Jordan's "push for the playoffs" not working well. VWC gonna make it interesting, since we have a road game (almost an automatic loss) with them. We could be dead last in a couple of weeks.

I don’t think it’s coincidental that all of the fan feedback and fan forum articles came out from the FO at about the same time they realized there was really zero chance of making the playoffs and to keep on that argument was foolish. There was a very short window after they fired Cabrera where playoffs were still a somewhat feasible possibility but that went away a couple weeks ago now.

18 possible points available, 12 out. Going to need an epic performance and some help to get into a crappy playoff spot. It's not going to happen and we should be focusing on getting the young guys some minutes.

It's not our year and acceptance of that should not be hard. It's all about next year at this point. Honestly, some day, someone will make a top 10 video about the worst season chokes and this year will make that list. Not the top, but it will be there. Best start in franchise history to probably last.

    Kevin Garcia? Really?!?!?!?!

Glad to see we've forfeited the game before it starts rather than in the 80th minute....

Was this a closed door match that they forgot to announce no fans allowed?

The QnA, you’re being “handled.” “Tell me what’s bothering you. Let me empathize with the rough experience you are having.” Like Shane Stant trying to commiserate with Nancy Kerrigan after he whacks her knee with the baton. Or if you’ve watched The Fall where the serial killer/psychologist grief-counsels a surviving victim who has blocked out whodunit and doesn’t realize.

A politician can make this play if they aren’t the incumbent. “I feel your pain.” Then they get elected and either fix things or not. We’ve been in office 13 years. Either do the job or not.

How is a player one hip on the retirement BarcaLounger playing for their contract?

If we’re not playing kids and guys we haven’t seen this is not really “playing for your job.” All these guys should have tons of tape and only a fool would change their evaluation based on how they show in a meaningless game in the close of the season.
