Sanchez works well off him imo

giroud works well with a lot of people because he knows his limitations (of which there are many) and tries to make sure his teammates get set up. problem with sanchez, though, is he screws up spacing for other people.

    Statistically they have no chemistry

I think Sanchez only has gotten two assists off Giroud and zero the opposite way.

    Sanchez is a soloist.

Reminds me of Zidane and Henry

people saying there is a falling out, i dont think so. Wenger simply things Alexis is a better fit, Giroud hasn't said anything in public, and is happy to be on the bench. sometimes people get too melodramatic, like this thing with Ospina in CL games, we don't know what happens behind the scenes.

Time to drag this old thread out of hibernation!

That's fantastic! FIFA gave it to him for all the world, when the BBC didn't even give it to him for the EPL! And he's very deserving of accolades IMHO. Not least because he's maintained a loyal, positive attitude in recent years even as he's been often relegated to striker #2 or super sub.

    Well done, Olivier.

Those same words could probably be spoken about Rashford. They probably have already.

IOW we should be psyched about this kid!

Maybe chill a little on the hype. Rashford is a PL sophomore with more than 50 PL starts.

For many fans, Olivier will be missed for his attitude, his loyalty, his scorpion!, his amazing Goals-per-90 ;) and for some... his looks. Hopefully you will reap some positive effects from this move. I for one will miss you being in our squad, even if it was lately just as super-sub. Bon chance.
