It made sense to play at Azteca when the base of Mexico's national team played in Mexico / Guadalajara. That was the case through 2010. It is not the case anymore. And I chose Jalisco over Chivas cuz it is more accessible for fans. Chivas is a logistical quagmire. Look at the photos of the stadium area and tell me where to park. And yes, @metalmaster the tamalera is Rayados' new crib. Named as such because the ventilation is terrible. Not good when you get Laredo weather.
Omnilife has plenty of parking. Getting to that parking is another issue. Terrible access, and if you miss the access road you are screwed. Estadio Jalisco on the other hand...take a taxi.
News to me. So the access is what sucks, then. When the Redskins opened their new stadium in 1997, there was only a 2 lane road in and out. 90,000 seat stadium. It was awful. Is it that bad, metalero?
I've only been to one game there. Most of the parking lot was still dirt, but it was decent size. Getting there was a pain since (as far as I know) there is only one access road off the Periferico. Traffic was a nightmare. Before that, I went just to see the stadium during a no game day, I missed the exit road, because of course, Mexico happened and the signage is lacking,. I think you can also access the stadium from the freeway that takes you to Vallarta, but never done that. Estadio Jalisco is super easy to get to, but no parking to speak of.
That's not even my quote and I recall you liking a post of mine only to argue with me several posts later... Azteca is still the home of the NT, but if we don't play there during the day, I would like to see them play in Monterrey. The more I watch games there the more I enjoy the crowd presence. You don't have to act like a total argumentative dickhead in every thread.
I just remember my boy Venado doing the samba with his shock orange vaps... Still gives me goosebumps Psh while we're having this bonfire tell us about the last fücking Mexico game you went to ya bish <_<
you guys still spazzing over beating the US in Columbus. Its embarasing that Mexico let 2-0 start in the first place. Mental midgetry as pipiri states. Now Jurgen screws up and Mexico can only get 1 goal out of it? Jurgen fixes his mistake and Osorio can't counter until nearly when the game ends. Chucky proved a good sub and dangerous. Mex wins with set piece, same style US is known for other than bunker/counter or long ball kick and run play. IMO Osorio deserves breathing room, but Mexico shouldnt be jumping and celebrating so much after the win.
I know nowadays the "fanboi" is more popular than ever. Excitement and celebration over everysingle thing is the fad. I remember back in the day there was a BSMX n00b with the username "MexicoWillBeChamp". We just need to be levelheaded and analyze and look at things from a realistic perspective. This is the reason why people love iPhones so much.
While I agree there are spazos in here I also think diminishing the win is lame. Whether Klinnsman messed up or not Columbus is a tough place to win. To brush it off you'd have to win there often. We haven't. Yes Osorio isn't the best and yes Klinnsman messed up but the name of the game is winning. They accomplished that. They also accomplished winning in a place they hadn't win, and gotten qualifying off to a good start.Being a spazo the opposite direction of others is also counter productive.
He couldn't fix the midfield and regain control of game because he had to burn two sub, one due to injury which changed everything, and the other because Diego Reyes shit the bed. That left him win one sub to make an impact and the rest is history
I am not totally brushing off the victory. It was a win that should be congratulated and a heavy pat on the back for each player given. todo con medida.
A what?... I was also hoping jona would of come in or at least fabIan once guardado got injured.. I saw Reyes and moreno painfully slow
In certain areas of Mexico, muffins (commonly known as mantecadas) are also known as mamones. Get it now? Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
Any media outlets been covering the training sessions these last couple days? What players and personnel has Profe been experimenting with?
We won for 2 reasons: We actually prepared for this match. Kudos to Osorio for having all the expats fly directly to colombus and train there well before. Besides '06, we never walked into a Colombus match in decent form.
