Roma's defense will have to improve immensely to keep Moreno on the bench this whole season. I see him playing as starter by late September.

NVM he was just subbed in at minute 79. Roma winning 3-0 so he wont have much of a challenge.

IMO Moreno was too comfortable at PSV and it showed when he played with the national team. Now that he's in a more uncomfortable position at Roma with more inner-squad competition, more on-his-toes, hopefully we notice an improvement. He's "supposed" to be one of our pillars in the defense but hasn't really stepped up to the plate in the past few years.

 

He played great at the WC in 2014, but he has not reached that same NT form he had since returning from that injury against Netherlands.
